In this depiction, Anthro is much more caveman like in his attire, wearing only a loincloth and a satchel, and carrying stone and wood weapons while his body looks more like a modern teenager rather than having a Cro-Magnon appearance. This starts a sequence in which Anthro is able to fight off a group of savage raiders (led by Vandal Savage) with a burning stick. Issue one of Final Crisis features an extended introduction involving Anthro, where the New God Metron appears before the boy and gives him the knowledge and skill to make fire. The story ends with his status seemingly threatened by the reader of the novel itself. He assists the Doctor, Infectious Lass, Genius Jones, Captain Fear and other somewhat heroic characters in a mission to keep their existence relevant. Speaking only French, he is soon melted out of a chunk of ice into what seems to be the modern day. A bored cavegirl, seemingly either Embra or Nima, joins the Sorceress in watching Anthro's 'battle'.Īnthro is featured in the graphic novel " Doctor Thirteen: Architecture & Mortality". He exhibits great eagerness, smashing the beast long after it is subdued. In an alternate time-line, an older Silver Sorceress, lost in time, is rescued from a large creature by Anthro. But I wanted to keep it consistent to the actual RP scene, so alas, no jacket for Ice.Anthro on the cover of Showcase #74, art by Howard Post.Īnthro is a fictional superhero character published by DC Comics, presented as the "first boy", a Cro-Magnon born to Neanderthal parents. On a more technical note here, I also managed to pick like the only scene Ice wasn’t wearing his uniform jacket in, which kind of displeased me, because I like his jacket haha. Besides I imagine his cold hatred is fierce. I know Fritz usually has a permanently upset look on his face, but my hands wanted to draw that face. Then again he’s got some thick fluff to keep warm with. XPįritz is not very fond of the snow which tends to be a constant feature of Windchill’s territory, quite the opposite of his apprentice, Ice, who quite enjoys bouncing around outside as if it were the middle of summer. At least if I had left it at that, oh well. I think perhaps I was thinking this one because it’d be quick and easy. XD It did’t have any significant value to our RP haha. I wanted to draw the two of them and for some reason this was the first scene that came to mind. Quick turned longer than intended haha, but that’s okay, because I’m rather pleased with the end result here. ![]() This was supposed to be a ‘quick’ little gift for my friend of our characters. ![]()
